Zahid Bukhari, the counsel for Malik Riaz, has said that they do not trust Shoaib Suddle-led commission, adding that the report of the commission would be subjective. He was speaking to media persons outside Supreme Court on Thursday. Bukhari accused the commission of failing to initiate impartial investigation against Arsalan Iftikhar.

He said the flat that Arsalan had lived in, was rented out in millions of rupees, but the commission didn't investigate the matter. He further said the commission had no right to inquire about the tax and account details of Riaz. According to him, his name has been put on Exit Control List (ECL) with a view to keeping foreign witnesses away from the case. Bukhari said the investigation carried out between October 6 and November 6 was illegal. The legality of the commission has been challenged in the Supreme Court once again, according to him.
